Brought in to deliver new high security features for the new digital cinema delivery platform. Scoping the project, developing the plans, identifying deliverables, using a mix of traditional Prince2, waterfall and Agile methodologies. Contract then extended to deliver refactored infrastructure services (e.g. network, DR).

  • Delivered MPS’ new flagship DRM (Digital Rights Management) service to the motion picture industry.
  • Working in collaboration with all major Hollywood studios: Disney, Sony, Universal, WB, Paramount and Fox to deliver bespoke system APIs, followed by Integration Testing and UAT.
  • Initial Pen Testing remediation necessitated the implementation of a pair of Thales nShield Connect+ 6000 across distributed data centres, which were both fully implemented within 6 weeks of receiving the vulnerability notification, including bespoke C++ wrapper library.
  • Subsequent full Penetration Testing carried out with in USA working very closely with Disney, remediating a handful of minor vulnerabilities to obtain full sign off of the service & infrastructure by both parties.
  • Created Web Application Penetration Testing procedures, how-tos and best practice guides.
  • Created Burp Suite (Web Application Pen Testing) instructions and payloads to cover the OWASP top 10.
  • Implemented bidirectional project management reporting & control, via Ceptah between MS Project to/from Jira.

The estate consisted 2,700 distributed servers providing local applications and services, and 150 base servers providing messaging, file & print services.
